*For Sale*
50 foot Tower suitable for Radio/TV/HAM Equipment
The tower is of a heavy duty construction. While it was in use, I was able to
climb up/down it with no problem(and I'm 6'2", 220 lbs.). It is tapered in
it's design. it currently has a rotor with a TV ant. attched the ant. is of qu
estionable condition so I'll throw it and the rotor in for free. I would like
to get $150 for it. It's in Rockford, IL. If you are local, come get it. If
not buyer would have to pay for any kind of shipping in advance, or COD.
Thanks,
Matt u61474@uicvm.bitnet

Check out the cop/swat/military mailorder places like U.S. Cavalry. They
have just the type of stuff you are looking for.

ps. If the professor was a Ham "Gilligan's Island" would have lasted only

Why is there no 10 meter activity?? Is it because of the band openings? If
so, how do you know when the openings are good?? 10 meters seems to have
become or is a dead band.

You might want to take this up with the ARRL. They may have investigated
this already, and they'd probably do a better job of asking the FCC than
you would (unless you're a communications lobbyist).
I would think it's OK. It doesn't really carry any information by itself;
it's more like a checksum, and checksums are already used in packet.
You couldn't encode the message itself, of course.
